This Race is for the Birds! 5K & 10K Run
April 9, 2016 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
The Potomac Valley Audubon Society is now accepting online registrations for its 15th annual “This Race is for the Birds!” event. The 2016 event will include two professionally timed races — one 5 kilometers long and another 10 kilometers long. There will also be a 1-mile “Fun Run” for children under 10 years of age. The 5 and 10K races will follow non-technical cross-country trails through the farm’s scenic fields, rolling hills and woods. The course will be suitable for all runners.
Proceeds from this event benefit Potomac Valley Audubon Society’s environmental education and outreach for children and adults in our community — the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and Washington County, Maryland.
