The 5K race starts at 8:30am and is a USATF certified flat loop course that begins at the Greenbelt SkatePark and ends at the Greenbelt Tennis Courts. Participants run/walk twice around beautiful Greenbelt Lake on a well maintained cinder path.

The Hare and Hound family event begins at 8:45 and is suitable for all ages. It is like a treasure hunt where participants follow clues in order to stay on course. The approximately 1K course is flat and will go through the woods. Participants may get muddy.
